This app requires the 'OpenVPN for Android' app to connect to the servers (other OpenVPN clients might also work).

This app provides access to a network of servers hosted by volunteers of the VPN Gate project at the University of Tsukuba in Japan. While these servers may not be as reliable as paid VPN services, they are free and available worldwide. For more information, please visit: http://www.vpngate.net/

A virtual private network (VPN) tunnel allows users to bypass firewalls and access blocked websites such as Facebook, Youtube, and Twitter. Additionally, a VPN enhances security when using public, open WiFi networks. This app offers a list of free servers from the VPNGate project.

Usage:

• Install this app and 'OpenVPN for Android'
• Launch this app and refresh the server list
• Select one of the available green servers to connect (if one does not work, please try another)
• Enjoy unrestricted internet access

Please note that VPN functionality may be limited behind certain firewalls.
